Who we are and what we do:

Who We Are:

Rebecca Recco, M. Ed.

Rebecca Recco is a teacher who has extensive experience in digital learning.  She has a master’s degree in Digital Learning & Leading from Lamar University (TX) and 5 years of experience coaching teachers in using blended and online learning.  She started using blended learning as a way to keep her sanity as a traveling art teacher in 5 schools with over 1000 students.  Now her class load is much more reasonable, but she still uses blended learning to support students with special needs and to empower students to become independent learners.

Isaac Emrick, Ph. D.

Isaac Emrick has over a decade of teaching experience in college and public school. He was an early adopter of LMS technology while designing his undergraduate courses. He received his PhD in Native American and Early American History from West Virginia University in 2015. He continues to utilize his history research to design and publish digital teaching materials and lessons on a wide range of historical subjects. He is still working on applying exciting and dynamic technologies like GIS and Augmented Reality to provide diverse learners access to meaningful content about the past.
